The Ridgefield Suzuki School offers violin, viola, cello piano lessons and group classes in the Suzuki Method as well as early childhood music classes. We strive to provide a nurturing environment where students develop lifelong learning skills, musical excellence and a profound love of music!
The Suzuki Method
The Suzuki Method was developed by Japanese violinist, Shinichi Suzuki (1898-1998) and has been taught in the United States for over 50 years. The philosophy is based on the following core principals: Every Child Can, Mother-Tongue Approach, Parental involvement and Community
What We Offer
Here at the Ridgefield Suzuki School we offer private lessons for violin, viola, cello and piano, for students 3.5 and up. We also offer two early childhood music classes, Music together which is designed for ages birth- six years old and our Meet the instruments class designed for children ages 3.5-6. Free Intro to Suzuki Cello Course!
Join us on Sunday March 3rd from 11:00-1:00 at the Ridgefield Academy for a free Introduction to Suzuki Cello course taught by our cello instructor Hannah Gebhard and our program director/violin instructor Jessica McNamara!
Through this class, you and your child will be introduction to cello, a preview of what it would be like to be a Suzuki student and learn all about the Suzuki Method!
